Mad.Sad.Glad turned Beethoven and Nielsen into a cast of mood monsters

I was tasked with creating Banjo Robinson a globe-trotting cat who sends real, personalised letters to 4-7 year olds from exciting destinations around the world. Working with Kate Boyle (concept genius!) and Alistair Hall (wemadethis.co.uk a great graphic design company) I illustrated a cast of character for Banjo to meet, and a huge world map that you can populate with colorful stamps from each country Banjo visits.

When a mysterious someone steals Detective Cluehound’s Halloween candy, he and his sidekick, Sergeant Squirrel, are on the case. But will the two be able to track down the thief before Halloween is over?

It’s Halloween, and Dog Detective Cluehound and Sergeant Squirrel are enjoying their candy after a night of trick-or-treating. But when they turn their backs for a moment, a cackling someone swoops in and steals their bucket of treats!

Thus begins a chase to apprehend the thief. Wherever they look, the witch is one step ahead until—POOF—she disappears. Is Halloween ruined for poor Detective Cluehound? 

But wait–there appears to be a surprise waiting for the hapless detective in his office….
